On January 4th. two women that lived in Eastern Texas were awaken by a surprise around seven in the morning. A school bus from Gilmer Independent School District had crashed into their living room, shaking up the house quite a bit. The cause of the accidents was the disobedience of the driver. Instead of stopping when arriving at a stop sign, the bus continued forward and crashed into a pick-up truck.
There were around 20 children inside the vehicle when the accident happened. A few of them received some bruises and scratches and eight of them were checked by paramedics when an ambulance arrived. When the children arrived at school they were checked by the school nurse. The driver of the pick-up truck wasn't as lucky and was rushed to the hospital. The bus driver will most likely lose his/hers' job depending on how the investigation goes on the whole issue.
