NFL's Draft Best

Today we are going to be talking about which teams did the best in this year’s draft. The whole point of the draft is so that each team can add young and promising talent to their roster. The worst teams will get to pick first and get the most valuable talent. This year the Buccaneers received the first pick and they drafted the Florida State quarterback legend, Jaemis Winston. The final pick was tight end, Gerald Christian, who was pick number 256 to the Arizona Cardinals out of Louisville. So, in between those 2 picks, we saw a lot of talented players get picked and turn out to be really talented in the NFL as well. So let's take a look at the 5 best draft classes of 2015.
  1. Tennessee Titans- While the Titans had a terrible season this year they can and will improve next year. Marcus Mariota, I believe, was the best quarterback taken in the draft. He became the only player in history to record a perfect quarterback rating in his first start ever. He played very well through his first few starts, but then he got injured. They also picked receiver, Dorial Green-Beckham, who turned out to be a fantastic pick. Through Mariota and Mettenberger and any other quarterback, he definitely proved his upside. The future is bright in Tennessee
  2. Minnesota Vikings- The Vikings wound up getting a steal with TJ Clemmings coming un-drafted and turning out to be a very valuable piece in the Vikings offensive line. Stefon Diggs has the potential to be a future no. 1 wide out and has certainly helped make the Vikings a dominant team in the NFL.
  3. Dallas Cowboys- Even though Dallas had an atrocious season, they did find some diamonds in the rough. Byron Jones and Randy Gregory showed flashes of greatness this season and have so much future potential. Jones down the stretch became arguably the most valuable piece to the Cowboys secondary this year and Gregory was one of the best future d-linemen of Dallas. La’el Collins became a starter midway through the year and became a vital piece to the Cowboys O-line and has all but ousted Ronald Leary out of a job in Dallas.
  4. Carolina Panthers- The Panthers obviously had a great team this season and they did a fantastic job tearing through the NFC. The biggest addition was Devin Funchess. With Kelvin Benjamin tearing his ACL to start the year the Panthers needed a receiver to step up and the duo of Devin Funchess and Ted Ginn Jr. became a dominant group this season and helped make an MVP of Cam Newton. Shaq Thompson played outside linebacker and did a great job in a great trio of linebackers including Luke Kuekly and Thomas Davis who are both pro-bowl bound.
  5. Oakland Raiders- The Raiders made leaps and bounds past what they were last season. They made a jump from a team who won 3 games to a team who won 7. The addition of Amari Cooper was a big part of the Raiders offense. He led all rookie receivers in yards, touchdowns and receptions and helped make Derek Carr a fantastic young quarterback. Mario Edwards Jr. was a Florida State product and he turned into a good defensive lineman. With a little work on Edwards he can become a staple in this Raiders defense.
Overall, this was a pretty interesting draft. I can’t wait to see how these teams use their new picks. Who do you think got the best player? Comment your thoughts below!
