University Students Attacked

Nineteen people died during a celebration of a University in Pakistan. These victims were celebrating the anniversary of Abdul Ghaffar Khan’s death, founder and namesake of the Bacha Khan University. During the celebration, militant attackers threw grenades and opened fire on students and teachers. The Pakistani government is still conducting an investigation for the perpetrators. Between yesterday and today, memorials and wakes conducted by students and family members were surrounded with Pakistani soldiers to keep the university safe from possible further attacks.
