The Krispy Kreme in Hampton is officially closed. If you love Krispy Kreme, then this sounds like a disaster. The good part is, is that it's only closed down temporarily. They are tearing the old one down and building a bigger and better store. The demolition of the old building with happen sometime in the next ten days. This new, 3,000 square foot building with be similar to the newly built one in Newport News. The store will have more space to eat including outdoor tables. The new Krispy Kreme is scheduled to open back up in the early summer.
