Keira Zirkle was born in Virginia beach on Jan 1, 1998. She currently lives in Suffolk and is a senior at Hampton Christian Academy. She plans to go to George Mason after she graduates high school. Keira enjoys reading and listening to music along with playing volleyball and soccer.
Volleyball has always been Keira’s most favored sport since she was growing up. Her older sister, who is two years older, played volleyball and Keira attend those games and became interested in following along in the sport of volleyball. “ There used to be times where my sister and I would go outside and toss the ball around,” Kiera said. Soccer wasn’t a sport she favored most but she liked to play alongside her friends.
Most of her influence comes from her family. She does not yet know what she wants to do as far as a life plan but she is taking it one step at a time hoping she will be successful enough to pay her own bills and help her parents out. The biggest influences were both her parents and her sister but not so much that they were role models but they were great sponsors of her life and decisions she made. The things that hold her back from being the best she can be is she gets stuck in a cycle that takes some time to get out of.
After college Keira looks forward to having her own place and being able to have her own leisure. Keira likes to be well dressed and professional looking, along with another side of her which is grudge and “rockish”. She is also heavenly influenced by poetry it gives her something to open up to and understand. Keira plans to go to Lithuania as far as mission trips to help and give. She is a very caring person. Her life has been based pretty much around Christian service and she just wants to help the less fortunate. Keira says if she won the Power Ball she would pay off current and incoming debts and pay off her parents giving the rest to charity. She believes in God enough that he will take care of her and get her a good job.
