A young teenager was playing in a basketball tournament when an unexpected accident happened. She was running to the other side of the court when she slipped and fell onto the floor. When she fell she fell a piece of wood came out from the floor and impaled her. The game ended immediately and the gym was cleared within minutes and she was quickly rushed to the hospital.
Thankfully none of her vital organs were damaged and she only had to spend one night in the hospital. People at this High school in Wisconsin are surprised that this happened considering the floor is not that old. The family of the girl isn't pressing any charges against the school. The place where the board came up is blocked off currently and is to be fixed soon.
