Playstation 4 First Impressions Review

I just bought a PlayStation 4 and was going to give some gameplay differences, but due to my hectic schedule I was only able to mess around with the dashboard and controller. Yes, I have played the PlayStation before, but I didn't go in depth with the effects of the controller. This particular day, I saw that the PlayStation controller beat out the Xbox controller by a long shot.

The PlayStation controller has a touch and press key pad that is very interesting to use. You can slide your finger around for a "swype" type of way of typing when the keyboard is available on screen. I also learned that the controller is motion sensitive with some of the features. The Xbox controller wasn't really any different from the 360. I do like the vibration features. For example, if you are playing 2k and dribbling in your right hand, your right trigger button will also give some slight vibration. I thought that was really cool. Unlike PS4, I do like the way the Xbox controller fits. It feels like a natural feel for your hands to contort to.

All in all, these systems are pretty similar, and almost identical in graphics and gameplay. I honestly like them both, and am finally glad I will get to play Uncharted again. Stay tuned for a more in depth synopsis of both systems and my enjoyment of each.
