Zoo Worker Mauled by Tiger

Imagine seeing a tiger walking in a local neighborhood as you're driving down the road. People in Houston, Texas been a witness to that exact experience recently. When the beautiful animal was first spotted, officials had no clue where she had come from. Thankfully within 24 hours of spotting her, they discovered where she had come from.

The female tiger had escaped from Harris County rescue club due to flooding. When the farm was evacuated, the owners somehow lost track of her. She even had a leash and collar attached around her neck and her front claws had been clipped. A local couple by the names of Erin Poole and Jonathan Gessner got out of their car when they saw the tiger. Jonathan Gessner wanted to catch the tiger and when he approached the wild animal, it got in position to jump on him. Instead of being viciously attacked, the tiger jumped on him and began licking his face. This took both Poole and Gessner by complete surprise. The animals has not been relocated yet but it is in the process of being moved.
