This movie was kind of disappointing in the most epic way possible. The most pleasing parts are the visual effects. The fight scenes were amazing and well choreographed.
The acting was also good. But the real problem lies with the actual plot itself. None of the characters whether good, evil, or neutral have any real motivation or purpose behind their actions.
Batman hated Superman because he believed that SUperman thought he was a god and above the laws of mankind. But technically speaking that’s a bit hypocritical.
Superman thought Batman was killing criminals (I mean technically he was indirectly responsible for the deaths of some criminals.) and needed to be stopped.
Meanwhile Lex Luthor hates Superman because he was powerful. I guess that’s supposed to make sense somehow.
Another issue was all the dream sequences and flashbacks that they threw into the story. It made the plot confusing and you weren't quite sure what had actually happened.
Then they threw in a lot of sneak peaks of the obvious Justice League characters. And while it was kind of cool, it really had nothing to do with the situation at hand.
I was infuriated by the ending of the film. (Yeah yeah, no spoilers) But overall I did not hate the movie.
