An Essay on High School & Stress

Powerful Ways To Remove Stress | Health and Beauty Tips

Our original plan for this article was to write about how much stress high school puts onto students. Unfortunately, our reporter was too stressed with all her other classes and couldn’t write the story. Ironic right?
How stressed are you? Comment your thoughts below. Feel free to rant!

  1. I Love it, I'm a parent of a senior and I can feel the stress. I'm really sad that our seniors can't really enjoy their last year of High School. In order for our seniors to be competitive in College they have to work their tail ends off. Honors classes, AP classes, and dual enrollment while taking SAT's and ACT's. While all of that is going on they are volunteering and playing sports so they can be very well rounded. Yes, I understand it is getting you ready for the real world but, it all seems so rushed. It is the last year of high school I wish all of you could enjoy each other and enjoy this time!! Soon enough you will be out of our houses and on to your very own adventures……….. I have to add that I’m so proud of all of YOU!! Class of 2016 You all are going to make a difference!!!
    Always rooting for you,

  2. I second what Mrs. Kjelvik said as far as believing in you all! I also share the desire that you will take time to really enjoy this year. After this year, you will never be a highschooler again! I learned a valuable lesson while getting my master's degree...I found contentment in doing my best with the available time I had to do my work after I had spent time on things that were more important. Those things for me included spiritual growth, family time, rest, and physical or recreational activity. Often times we are our own worst enemies when it comes to stress. I absolutely believe, and know, that there is a lot of expected of you all but do your best with what God has given you, prioritize, and find contentment and rest in that!
