A homecoming ceremony at Fort Carson, Colorado, in order of recently deployed soldiers was temporarily paused by a little girl happy to see her father on October 8. Soldiers, who had just returned from Kuwait, were waiting for the ceremony to end before going to see their families. One little girl got away from her mom and sister and ran across the gymnasium where the ceremony was held, all the way to her father. Lt. Daniel Oglesby was standing at attention in the front row, when he received an unexpected hug and a kiss from his little girl. After the quick exchange, she ran back across the gym to her mother. Lt. Oglesby said that since the current timing was about family, he gave his daughter a hug and kiss, but told her to go to back to her mom so he can see her after the presentation. While her timing may have been a little inopportune, this little girl truly showed her love for her father.
