Ole Miss Vs Memphis

The likelihood of Ole Miss reaching the Playoffs this year most likely ended Saturday, as they lost to Memphis 37-24. Ole Miss held a 14-7 lead up until Robert Nkemdiche, defensive end for Ole Miss, was literally knocked out while running the ball on offense. One Nkemdiche was taken off the field, Memphis turned the tide with 24 unanswered points, including scores on four consecutive possessions. The Tigers’ quarterback, Paxten Lynch, got the offense fired up. With no running game to aid, the Junior finished the game with 384 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
