The I-264 shooting happened on Saturday, when three young men were arrested for an early morning shooting on Interstate 264 in Virginia beach. Trooper I.K Ibrahim heard a sound of a gunfire while on patrol near the I-64/I-264 interchange around 1:40 a.m Friday morning. A mysterious vehicle traveling east on 1-64 refused to stop, but after a brief pursuit, the vehicle finally stopped along the eastbound lanes of I-64 near Greenbrier Parkway. The driver of the mysterious vehicle, 25 year old Stefan Idele of Newport News, was charged with carrying a weapon, shooting from a motor vehicle, and driving with a suspended license. But he wasn't alone. There were two other passengers with him, Charles Weeks and Chadon Burton, both of whom were charged with shooting from a motor vehicle. All three were booked in the Virginia Beach City Jail without bail and declined interviews. The incident remains under investigation after the discovery of two handguns.
