Paul George is tearing up the court like he never left. He broke his leg a year ago, but is putting up stats like he never had that fateful night in the USA team scrimmage. Now, he is back and more improved than ever. We all saw the video of his horrific accident and while people were quick to wish him well, many considered it the end of his career. Imagine their surprise when George came back healed and ready for blood. He’s currently averaging 26.5 points per game. With this great attitude and formidable spirit, I definitely see him as a candidate for MVP. While I don’t think that this will happen with Steph Curry’s perfect season, it does bode extremely well for his performance next season too. This is still a happy sight for me though. Seeing George playing ten times better than when he was first healthy gives me hope and faith in his longevity in the league.
