Schilling Gets the Curb
Radiation Found in Playground
A man discovered high levels of radiation at a children's park in Japan. Four years after the Fukushima disaster, the Japanese are worrying about nuclear contamination again. The playground is more than 155 miles (249 kilometres) from Fukushima. It is not clear why the radiation levels are high at the park, but officials believe that it is not connected to the disaster at Fukushima. The park is now fenced off. A man who lives in the area reported the high radiation. Families in eastern Japan measure radiation around their houses. They do not trust the government which says that most places are safe after the Fukushima disaster.

Tragic Bombing in Syria
On April 28, a little past noon, a bomb killed at least twenty people. An air strike hit a hospital in Aleppo, Syria. The Syrian government released the air strike but it did not hit its target, but hit the hospital. Several of the dead were hospital nurses and doctors, while at least 150 people were wounded. Rescue teams are still trying to clear up the debris and collect bodies. This was one of the last places in Aleppo that had not been touched by fighting. Accusations have been sent Russia’s way because of their recent heavy presence in Syrian airspace. News on this bombing and several others are updated continuously on CNN and Arab News.

America's Next Top Model
If you love shows about fashion and drama this is the show for you.
Tyra Banks and some of her famous friends host a modeling contest. It used to just consist of girls but over the past few years they've included men as well.
The best part of the show has to be the makeovers the girls go through. Tyra usually has them change their hair to something completely different. After that they start posing for different makeup or magazine agencies.
The girls have to live together in the same house, which causes all kinds of issues. Women aren't meant to live together for long periods of time.

Not a Fan of McDonald's?
When you're a kid McDonalds is one of your favorite fast food places. (If not well then that’s your childhood) The taste was pretty decent and of course it was convenient.
And I won't lie I started going to McDonald's again once they started serving breakfast all day. I love being able to eat pancakes whenever I want.

Dominance
Over his last 24 starts, there has not been a better pitcher in the MLB than Jake Arrieta. Actually over his last 24 starts there has never been a better pitcher than Jake Arrieta. It is startling just how good the Cubs ace has been since last June. Just listen to these stats: over his last 24 starts he is 20-1, he has a 0.86 era (Earned Run Average-amount of runs per game), a 0.70 WHIP (Walks and Hits per Inning Pitched), he has 2 no hitters and every single one of those 24 starts has been a quality start (at least 6 innings pitched and fewer than 3 runs allowed). To put that in perspective only 1 man has achieved those numbers over a 24 game stretch since stats were first recorded: Hall of Famer Bob Gibson. It’s just crazy to think that he has thrown more no hitters than he has lost games. Well it didn’t always look and feel this good for Arrieta. Arrieta was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles back in 2007 and made his MLB debut in 2010. Over the next three seasons Arrieta would boast a 5.33 era which was the worst in the entire MLB among pitchers with the same innings as Jake. In 2013 he started off horribly, giving up 14 runs in 19 innings with a 6.63 era. Right before the trade deadline however, the Orioles sent Arrieta and relief pitcher Pedro Strop to the Cubs in exchange for pitcher Scott Feldman and catcher Steve Clevenger. This trade was thought of as a terrible deal for the Cubs for a while because while Feldman was great he was certainly better than a guy who was last in era over the 3 previous years. The Cubs sent Jake directly to the minor leagues to work on his techniques. After some impressing starts Jake finally came back to the majors and has just flat out dominated. His first season he finished 4-2, followed by 10-5 the next year and last year he went 22-6 with a 1.77 era and 236 strikeouts to win the NL Cy Young award. To give you some perspective on this kind of a run, over his last 15 starts, he has pitched 119 innings and has given up only, get this, 7 runs! That’s just insane how you can just baffle MLB starting lineups like this. Regardless, Jake Arrieta is a complete stud and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down.

The Wonders of Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is an essential in any girl’s life, boys can use it too but I wouldnt know why other than for food? Anyways, most people will use coconut oil as a healthy alternative to the fatty and sodium consumed products to add to food. I have found many other helpful uses for coconut oil. These applications may not be useful to everyone, but these slight changes have helped my life tremendously.
- For Soft and Beautiful Hair - My hair is breaking-brushes thick, tight-as-a-poodle’s curly, and why-do-I-even-bother frizzy. One solution that I have been able to use is coconut oil. Before I go to bed, I apply copious amounts to my long, dry, and big hair. I don’t use a comb to spread it, but rather just run my fingers through my hair until the oil is spread out. Then I wrap my hair in a bun and go to bed. The next morning in the shower, I wash my hair and conditioner it like normal. I comb my hair after the shower and watch as the frizz is contained and the curls are gorgeous ALL DAY! Now, different people have different hair. Because of the way my hair is so obnoxious, I only apply coconut oil once a week. For your hair, research if coconut oil is good for it and how much and how often you should apply it.
- Soft Skin - Coconut oil on your legs and arms (if you do that) after a shave is great for your skin. The natural qualities of the oil is great for your skin. To avoid the greasy hands and grease marks on my phone, I apply it at night before bed.
- Yummy Stir Fry - Using coconut oil as the cooking oil for stir fry is a healthy and yummy alternative to other oils.
